Fishing Charter FAQ and Cancellation Policy

Five men posing with a large catch of various fish on a dock.

Do I need a Florida Fishing License? What is included?

No, our Charter Permit has you and your guests covered; it is included in the Charter price. We provide all the fishing rods and tackle, but if you have a favorite rod, feel free to bring it along. If you’re planning a longer trip, don’t forget to check our fishing charter cancellation policy. Once we get back to the dock, the Captain and Mate will fillet and clean your catch. Also, ensure you have your Florida fishing license and sea-sick medication if you think you might need it. Don't forget your cooler to take your catch home.

How many people can join us on the Charter?

Our Charter business operates with a 6-pack license, allowing us to accommodate up to 6 anglers or guests on the boat. We also recommend that all guests have a Florida fishing license and consider bringing sea-sick medication for a comfortable experience.

What do I need to bring?

We suggest that guests bring their food and drinks for the day, along with plenty of water. Yes, you can bring alcohol or beer on board, but please no glass. Don't forget sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable shoes. It’s also a good idea to bring a change of clothes and sea-sick medication if you're prone to motion sickness. Lastly, make sure you have a cooler in your vehicle to take home your catch, and do not forget to check our fishing charter cancellation policy before your trip. If you plan on fishing, remember to obtain your Florida fishing license as well.

What if I might get Sea-Sick?

We recommend taking the appropriate sea-sick medication both the night before and the morning of your fishing charter, especially if you think you might experience motion sickness. Waiting until you feel ill is often too late for medications to take effect. Additionally, ensure you have your Florida fishing license ready to avoid any issues on your trip.

Share your Catch

We love it when our guests post on Social Media and tag us, especially when they share their experiences about our fishing charters. A great review helps us out, and we appreciate when you mention our fishing charter cancellation policy, the importance of having a Florida fishing license, or even the need for sea-sick medication for those who might need it. Your feedback means a lot!

What if I have to Cancel my Fishing Charter?

We understand that sometimes life happens, which is why we have a clear fishing charter cancellation policy in place:

If you need to cancel your charter less than 72 hours before your trip, a $500 cancellation fee will apply. However, you can apply that $500 fee toward your next charter with us.

If you cancel more than 72 hours before your charter, you'll receive a 100% refund.

Weather-related cancellations: If the captain determines that we need to cancel your charter due to weather conditions, your charter fee will be 100% refundable. We will also do our best to help rebook you at a later date. Don’t forget to bring your Florida fishing license and any necessary sea-sick medication to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
